Getting there: The most cost- and time-efficient way of getting to the hotel is via Airport Express train, which departs from the airport every 12 minutes and stops at major city stations

Schedule and directions (subject to change without notice): From the airport arrivals hall, guests should follow signs to the train and then purchase a ticket at the electronic booths provided, or the ticket counter. Trains depart from just beyond this area every 12 minutes. Guests should then exit at Hong Kong Station and, for those traveling light, take the Island Line MTR subway to Admiralty Station, which is approximately 2 blocks from the hotel. Travelers with more than one light bag should take a taxi from Hong Kong Station to the hotel, as the MTR subway can be quite crowded at times.

Know Before You Go

The government of Hong Kong has waived the Hotel Accommodation Tax for all new bookings made from now for travel July 1, 2008 until further notice. The 10% service fee still applies.

Dining

cafe TOO - A choice of seven different cooking zones provide guests with international cuisine, offering vegetarian selections. This café has crisp, contemporary décor, with polished floors, glass and steel finishes, and features a salad bar and desserts counter. Open from early morning till late, the café is located on level seven.

Nadaman - Japanese cuisine by Japanese chefs with separate Teppanyaki and Sushi areas, and a private Tatami room (with grass and rice straw-based mats). À la carte dining is also provided with vegetarian options, for lunch and dinner till late. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows. It is located on level seven above the lobby, and dress code is smart casual.

Restaurant Petrus - Large windows providing views of the harbor, and a wine cellar with reportedly one of the most extensive wine lists in Asia, the restaurant on level 56 also has separate rooms, Alsace and Burgundy, available for private dining parties. Décor is plush, with soft furnishings and heavy drapes, chandeliers and ornate timber finishes. Serving contemporary French cuisine with vegetarian options, the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an evening dress code of dinner jacket, and smart casual at other times.

Summer Palace - Cantonese cuisine is presented with specialties, along with Yum Cha (tea drinking with tiny servings of food) or Dim Sum (small portions of buns, dumplings and rice rolls and other token servings) available for daily lunch, with a wide selection of dim sum and vegetarian options. On level five, the restaurant décor is Asian style in rich reds and dark furnishings, with artworks decorating the walls. It is open for lunch and dinner and the dress code is smart casual.

Island Gourmet - A specialty tea room provides a selection of fresh-made pastries, chocolates, breads and sandwiches. Open from early morning till evening, the tea room is found on level five.

Pool Deck Snack Bar - Adjacent to the Swimming Pool, the casual landscaped Pool Deck serves light snacks and cocktails. Situated on level eight, the bar is open from mid morning till late evening.

Lobby Lounge - Traditional afternoon tea or evening cocktails are served while a pianist entertains with light music. The Lounge is situated off the lobby on level six and is open from morning till late evening. Guests are required to wear smart casual dress.

Lobster Bar & Grill - Cocktails and a light international menu are served daily, and there are performances six nights a week. Dress code is smart casual and the restaurant and bar is located on level six.
