Getting there: The most cost- and time-efficient way of getting to the hotel is via Airport Express train, which departs from the airport every 12 minutes and stops at major city stations.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): From the airport arrivals hall, guests should follow signs to the train and then purchase a ticket at the electronic booths provided, or the ticket counter. Trains depart from just beyond this area every 12 minutes. Guests should then exit at Hong Kong Central Station and, for those traveling light, take the MTR subway to Fortress Hill Station.There is a short walk from the station to the City Garden Hotel. Travelers with more than one light bag should take a taxi from Hong Kong Central Station to the hotel, as the bus can be crowded at times.

Know Before You Go

The government of Hong Kong has waived the Hotel Accommodation Tax for all new bookings made from now for travel July 1, 2008 until further notice. The 10% service fee still applies.

Garden Café - Located on the first floor. Asian and Western dishes. Buffets. All meals served. Top Summit Seafood Restaurant - Located on the first floor. Traditional Cantonese cuisine with provincial and fusion touches. Private rooms available. Daily lunch and dinner.

Satay Inn - On the lobby level, with separate entrance adjacent to hotel’s main entrance. Singaporean and Malaysian specialties. Daily lunch and dinner.

The Admiral’s Bar - In the basement. Nautical décor. Deep armchairs and sofas. Cocktails, snacks. Live band every night but Sunday. Open from late afternoon until early morning.

Lobby Lounge - Adjacent to the main lobby. Afternoon tea, cocktails. Open from early afternoon until late evening.
