Dinner reservations recommended. Uncle George’s Lounge - Panoramic mountain and crater views. Signature cocktails served. Open from late afternoon until mid-evening. Snack Bar - Fast-food items, sandwiches, fruit, salads, and other light fare. Open from early morning until early evening. There are numerous places to dine away from Volcano House Hotel, just keep in mind that Hilo is 40 minutes away and the drive to Kailua Kona is close to 3 hours.
