The Kona Coast Resort consists of 30 two- and three-story condo buildings set amid 21 acres of gardens. All villas have air conditioning, windows that open, and private, furnished lanais. Full kitchens include refrigerators, stoves/ovens, microwaves, coffeemakers, dishwashers, dishes, and cookware. Washers and dryers are provided in every unit. Living room entertainment centers include cable TVs with VCRs and CD players; some villas also have bedroom TVs.

Recreation

The resort has two adult pools and a children’s pool, three spa tubs, and a dry sauna. An exercise center with locker rooms and showers is located in the main pool complex. Also on site are a three mile jogging track, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, and a basketball hoop. Guests have access to the adjacent Ocean & Mountain Golf Course of the Kona Country Club.

The Kona Coast is renowned for its white and black sand beaches as well as excellent diving and deep sea fishing in the calm offshore waters. The nearest beach to the resort, less than half a mile west, is dark and rocky, better for snorkeling than sunbathing. Sandy beaches are about two miles away. Fishing and sailing charters, equipment rentals, and adventure and sightseeing tours are available through the activity desk or through marinas and shops in Kailua-Kona.

Property Amenities

This Big Island resort sits among 21 acres of tropical gardens, just inland from the Pacific at Keauhou Bay. The resort is five miles south of Kailua-Kona, and the calm waters of the Kona Coast are within a half mile of the resort.

Recreational facilities include two outdoor swimming pools and a children’s pool, three spa tubs, a dry sauna, and an exercise facility with locker rooms. Other options include tennis courts, a three-mile running track, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, basketball, and a playground.

An on-site activity center provides a weekly program of special events and supplies water-sports equipment. Many activities are offered for children, and in-room child care can also be arranged.
