All 42 suites in this 2-floor resort feature spacious living rooms, gas fireplaces, and 27-inch TVs with VCR players. Kitchens provide refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, cookware, and dishes, and come with settings for four people; more can be provided upon request. Suites also come with dining tables and chairs. Located in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, the lodge is set in a small hamlet 1 km (a half-mile) from the entrance to Banff National Park. It’s a little less than 20 km (12.5 miles) from the hotel to the town of Banff inside the park. Travelers can hike, camp, mountain-bike, ski, snowboard, fish, ride horses, and more inside this large national park. There are also numerous ski areas in the area (30-50 km, or 19-31 miles, away), and at least five golf courses are nearby.
