Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH): Approximate travel time is 45 minutes and distance is 34 kilometres (21 miles).

Getting there: Taxis are the recommended form of public transport for getting to the Shangri-La Hotel Hangzhou; alternatively, airport transfers can be arranged with the hotel. Travellers choosing the latter form of transport are advised to contact the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to give the staff an estimated time of arrival. Hotel contact details will be included in the reservation confirmation for bookings via this Web site. Rental cars are not recommended for travellers unfamiliar with this area. Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside the airport Arrivals terminal. Travellers should instruct the driver to proceed to 78 Beishan Road. If the driver does not understand any English, travellers should show the hotel booking confirmation, which contains the name and address of the hotel in Chinese.
