Spa
The Mandara Spa at Pacific Islands Club Guam features 10 treatment suites directly on Tumon Bay. A jungle filled with bamboo, coconut palms, banana trees, and blooming orchids surrounds the 1,500-square-meter (16,000-square-foot), open-air, tropical spa. Suites offer a combination of large sunken baths, double-headed showers, and comfortable tables for various spa treatments. Other features include private gardens, spa tubs, garden showers, safety boxes, closets, vanities, and relaxation areas. Mandara is a place for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation, featuring traditional Asian and Western health and beauty treatments. The spa is open from mid-morning until late evening daily. |
The name "Mandara" comes from an ancient Sanskrit legend about the gods' quest to find the answer to immortality and eternal youth. Mandara Spa, originating in Bali, has embraced this legend. The company's philosophy is to incorporate Balinese treatments in keeping with the founding roots of Mandara, in addition to traditional and classic techniques stemming from Europe or Asia, and therapies native to the Pacific.
