Hotel Information: Opened in 2006, the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman spans 144 acres, from the white sands of Seven Mile Beach to the North Sound—a reef-protected lagoon that is home to Stingray City. The resort attracts guests seeking a luxury experience—including destination dining and a La Prairie Spa—combined with outdoor pleasures such as snorkeling and tennis.
Insider tip - Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, about a 30-minute ride from the resort, is the place to see rare Blue Iguanas, along with turtles, butterflies, and colorful birds. Occasionally, visitors may spot green Cayman parrots.
Rooms
The seven-story Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman offers 365 spacious guestrooms and suites. All feature balconies with ocean or resort views. Beds are dressed with feather duvets, goose-down and nonallergenic pillows, and 400-thread-count Fili D'oro Italian linens. Marble-and-limestone bathrooms have separate showers and tubs, lighted makeup/shaving mirrors, dual-sink vanities, spa toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Other amenities include CD and DVD players, cordless telephones, laptop-sized safes, large desks, and fully stocked minibars. Housekeeping service is provided twice daily. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Recreation
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is located in the center of Seven Mile Beach along the clear Caribbean Sea. The waters, teeming with colorful sea life, invite snorkeling, scuba diving, and relaxed swims. Guests can snorkel and dive just offshore, but the resort also provides boat rides (surcharge) to the best sites. The resort rents snorkeling and diving gear. Windsurfing and motorized water sports are available through independent providers along the beach.
The Ritz-Carlton’s tennis center (surcharge), with three red-clay courts and a grass court, a separate backboard, and water views, was created by Nick Bollettieri, coach of many champions. The resort has two outdoor pools: one oceanfront and paired with a spa tub; the other on the North Sound side. The fitness center offers complimentary group classes such as Body Sculpting and Soca/Reggae Aerobics, with surcharges for personal training.
At Stingray City, a 10-minute boat ride from the Ritz-Carlton, visitors can swim under, over, and along with the rays, and hand-feed them, too.

A mandatory hotel resort fee of $30 per room/night is collected at time of booking (fee subject to change). The fee includes unlimited use of the spa tub, steam room and sauna at Silver Rain, a La Prairie Spa; use of the fitness center and daily classes; use of kayaks, snorkeling gear, water tricycle, floating rafts, paddle boats and water hammocks; snorkeling lessons daily at 10:30 AM; local phone calls; and in-room Internet access.
The resort permits cats and dogs (maximum 30 pounds) for a surcharge. Pets are permitted only in designated pet-friendly guestrooms, hallways leading to these rooms, outside premises and terraces, and the lobby.
