Recreation
This is Canada’s newest ski resort (2005), offering a combination of dry powder snow and a variety of terrain for all levels. The high-speed, eight-passenger gondola provides access from base to summit in just 12 minutes. There is a heated ski/bike storage room on site.
Summer offers a range of adventure sports including down-hill mountain biking; whitewater rafting; hiking, horse riding, and more, either at the resort or in the surrounding area. The resort offers a summer sightseeing gondola. An architect-designed 18-hole golf course lies below the resort. There is also a 22-acre Grizzly Bear Refuge for orphaned Grizzlies.
