Hotel Information: The Reach Resort - Waldorf Astoria Collection completed a $37 million renovation in early 2008 and has a casual, open-air ambience featuring weathered wood furnishings. On the beach, resort staff can assist guests with water-sports activities and ocean adventures. Guests have complete access to tennis courts and services at a nearby hotel.
Insider tip: Resort staff rove the beach and pool areas, distributing complimentary frozen face towels, fresh fruit, and popsicles to sunbathers.
Rooms
The resort has 150 guestrooms and suites in a five-story building. All rooms include ceiling fans and furnished balconies with city or ocean views.
