Hotel Information: Hidden in a private compound, this tranquil, charming hotel attracts couples seeking a restful, memorable holiday. (Persons under age 21 are not permitted.) The owners are avid orchid growers, and many flowers are on display in the gardens. Shopping, dining, and entertainment are one block away on Duval Street.
Insider tip: Since parking is scarce in the area, the best way to get around is by trolley, train, or the Bone Island Shuttle. The trolley stops around the corner from Heron House and costs $35 per person, per day (prices subject to change).
Rooms
This hotel has 23 guestrooms and suites in four two-story buildings without elevators. Each individually decorated room and suite features stained-glass windows and original Florida Keys watercolors.
