Getting there: Palazzo Galletti is a 15-minute taxi journey from the airport and costs approximately €20. An airport bus leaves every 30 minutes and transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. A single ticket is €6. The Terravision coach also runs to the city centre. A ticket costs €12 and includes a one-day travel card on all Florence city buses. All prices are subject to change.

Getting around: The centre of Florence is compact and best explored on foot. Traffic is restricted in the city centre and parking can be expensive. Bright orange buses service the city centre, and tickets can be bought at tobacconists or vending machines. Tickets are sold on a time basis – for 1, 2, or 24-hours. Taxis are available outside Santa Maria Novella Station.
