Reception hours at Bega Lagoon Resort are from Monday–Sunday from approximately 7 AM−8 PM; and on Saturday–Sunday, from 10 AM–4 PM.

Instructions: After booking a reservation via this Web site, contact the property using the phone number provided in the reservation confirmation e-mail to book boat transfer from Pacific Harbour.

Rooms

Beqa Lagoon Resort has 25 bures (villas). All are private mini-suites with marble-lined bathrooms, and are decorated with rattan and bamboo furnishings and Fijian art. Bures offer views of the garden, koi pond, or ocean.

Recreation

Beqa Lagoon Resort is situated near one of the world’s largest barrier reefs. More than 100 dive sites are found offshore, and guests may dive with qualified dive masters. Snorkelling may be enjoyed just a few metres from the beach. Kayaking in single or double kayaks allows guests to explore the island beaches. Water skiing, tube riding, fishing and surfing are also available. Examples of Fijian culture may be experienced by observing the traditional fire walking ceremony, the kava ceremony, and a coconut show.

Local attractions and nearby villages (closest 0.5 km) are reached on foot via paths or trails, or by boat. River rafting expeditions on local rivers, bird watching, and hiking in the tropical forest are just some of the other recreational opportunities on the island.

Beqa Lagoon Resort offers 25 bures (villas), secluded among coconut tree groves on Beqa Lagoon. The 78-square km island has no roads, no cars, and no telephones. Guests have access to the resort restaurant, which is an open-air bure offering gourmet dining and a bar. Entertainments include a traditional fire walking ceremony, the kava ceremony, a coconut show, visits to local villages, and nightly music. Guests may shop at the on-site boutique/gift shop.

High-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Location Details

Nadi International Airport (NAN): Approximate travel time from the airport to Pacific Harbour is 2 hours and 30 minutes by bus and distance is 160 kilometres. Boat transfer from Pacific Harbour to Beqa Lagoon Resort takes 40 minutes.

Getting there: Buses and boats provide transportation to the resort. Rental cars are not recommended for travellers unfamiliar with this area.

Approximate travel time from the airport to the hotel by bus: 2 hours and 30 minutes from Nadi to Pacific Harbour; 1 hour and 15 minutes from Suva to Pacific Harbour.

Ferry details

Ferry/Boat travel time from the Pacific Harbour to the hotel: 40 minutes from Pacific Harbour to Beqa Lagoon Resort.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Boats provide transportation to Beqa Island from Pacific Harbour Boat Launch. Boats launch at 9:00am and 2:30pm. Return boat transfer arrives at Pacific Harbour at 9 AM. Please advise boat transfer time in booking request. If no transfer request is provided at least 72 hours prior to arrival, guests will automatically be booked on the 9 AM transfer.

Know Before You Go

Boats provide transportation to Beqa Lagoon Resort and transfers are included in the price of all rooms. Boats depart twice daily at 9 am and 2:30 pm from the Pacific Harbour Boat Launch located at the Restaurant Dock. Guest must inform hotel staff at the time of booking of their preferred transfer time.

Dining

Bure Kalou (main restaurant) - Gourmet dining freshly prepared and served in an open air bure (villa). Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bure Kalou Bar - Situated in the same building as the main restaurant. Fully licensed. Live, local Fijian singing and music offered nightly.
