Hotel Information: The discreet entrance leads guests to the gracious lobby with its polished marble pillars, fireplace, and sofas. The reception desks are designed to replicate those used by tellers when this building was a bank. In the original 19th-century Banking Hall, each chandelier includes 8,000 pieces of Egyptian crystal, and intricate ornamental features cover the walls and ceiling. The hotel, which opened in 2001, is popular with businesspeople during the week and vacationers on weekends.

The Westin Dublin has 163 guestrooms, all of which include the Westin Heavenly Bed, which consists of a foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative neck roll pillow). The Mint Bar - Downstairs from the lobby, the Mint Bar was the vault in this former bank building. The original vaulted ceiling and slate floor remain, and dark wooden paneling surrounds the central bar. A light lunch menu is offered. Black-and-white photos on the walls show how the room looked in its banking days.
