Hotel Information: Guests arrive at the Regency Hotel via the 18th-century entrance hall in the old part of the building, featuring oil paintings, period-style furniture and a mahogany staircase flanked by statues. To the left is a reception area and a lounge with red-leather seating, where coffee is served. Coach tours to the Wicklow Hills and the sixth-century monastery at Glendalough depart from the hotel, and tickets are available at reception. Dublin’s hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus also stops at the hotel. Golfers will find the 18-hole Clontarf parkland course within three kilometres.
