Travel Details

Morrison

Hotel Information: This 1999 hotel was styled by fashion designer John Rocha, and everywhere dark-stained oak floors boldly contrast with pristine white upholstery. Amid vivid scarlet cushions, the young clientele reclines on the lobby’s leather sofas flanked by slender steel lamps.

Amenity highlights: For a drink or a light meal, guests can choose from the Café Bar, popular during the day, or the Morrison Bar, which comes to life after dark. For a full evening meal, the contemporary-style restaurant offers a fusion of Irish and French cuisine.

Insider tip: One block from the hotel, the Ha’Penny Bridge first spanned the River Liffey in 1816, charging a toll of one half-penny from all who crossed it. The toll has long vanished, and today this romantic, cast-iron bridge offers excellent views of the city and, for hotel guests, convenient access to the bars and restaurants of the Temple Bar district, on the opposite side of the river.
