Hotel Information: Hot cider and cookies are served every afternoon in a rustic-style lobby with exposed pine beams, an antler chandelier, and two-sided stone fireplace (that also faces the restaurant). A loyal clientele returns to this lodge, year after year, due to the location and varied amenities.
Amenity highlights: The lodge offers standard and deluxe rooms or suites with kitchenettes. A heated indoor/outdoor pool (renovated October 2008) is open year-round, and other amenities include a spa tub, fitness room, steam room, spa, restaurant, deli, and conference rooms.

Insider tip: Cars are not necessary in Crested Butte, thanks to the Crested Butte Town Shuttle and Crested Butte Mountain Express. Every 15 minutes, the complimentary shuttles run the 3 miles between Mt. Crested Butte and the Victorian town, a national historic district. There are frequent stops along the route.
