The Wyndham Cozumel Resort & Spa All Inclusive offers 306 guestrooms in 27 villas of two- and three-stories (no elevators). All accommodations have air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, and telephones. Standard rooms feature pastel-colored villas with pyramidal roofs (some thatched).

Wyndham Cozumel Resort & Spa All Inclusive offers two swimming pools. The freeform pool is the site of lively family activities while a quieter pool in the shape of a figure 8 is quieter, reserved for adults, and has a swim-up bar.

Guests are welcome to use the Reef Club Cozumel Beach's tennis courts, snorkeling gear, kayaks, and windsurfers, and take part in the pool and outdoor aerobic sessions. Other equipment including motorized water sports equipment such as banana boats can be rented (surcharges). The resort's dive shop includes a pool for scuba-diving lessons and conducts certification classes. It can arrange scuba and snorkeling excursions, and reef, wreck, cave, and night dives (surcharges for all instruction and excursions).

Guests can golf at the Cozumel Country Club at discounted green fees. The 18-hole, par-72 course features a practice range and practice green. It is 18 km (11 mi) away.

This resort underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2006. A fitness center, open to all guests, contains cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights. A small spa offers massage, body treatments, facials, hair braiding, waxing, and nail care, plus the spa’s signature treatment, Aquatic Janzu Therapy, done in the ocean (surcharges for all spa treatments and services). Massage can also be arranged under an open-air thatched-roof palapa at the beach (surcharge). Two computers with complimentary Internet access are available at the front desk.

Children ages 4–12 enjoy supervised activities in a clubhouse during the day. Members of the resort's activities/entertainment staff lead daytime activities and competitions and present nightly shows in an air-conditioned theater. The staff is multilingual. The resort purifies its water.

Weather-related policies

This hotel’s hurricane policy applies only in the event that a hurricane:

• Directly hits the hotel property and suspends the use of activities, or
• If the airport into the destination closes due to an imminent hurricane, or
• If airlines cancel flights into the destination due to an imminent hurricane

  Guests with confirmed reservations will be able to:

• Cancel without penalty from the hotel and will be offered a full refund of any advance deposits. Or,
• Reschedule a vacation if unable to travel to the property due to severe weather conditions – with no cancellation penalties from the hotel – at the same hotel for reservations within the next 12 months
  1. Replacement vacation claims must be made within 90 days of the original vacation or once the property is back up and running.
  2. The value of the guest’s original vacation will be credited to the guest to be used for the replacement vacation.
