Weather-related policies

• In the event that a hurricane directly hits any Palace Resort or Le Blanc Spa Resort while guests are at the resort, the hotel will provide a certificate for a return stay to the original resort for the number of original nights.
  A certificate will be offered if the U.S. National Weather Center issues a Category One Hurricane warning or higher to the area and the hurricane directly hits any Palace Resort or Le Blanc Spa Resort. The certificate will be valid for travel April 15 – December 15, 2008. It is non transferable and not redeemable for cash. Space is subject to availability and blackout periods apply. The policy excludes day of departure. Airfare and transfers are not included. This policy is for individual travel and groups booked through this Web site. It does not apply to groups booked directly with Palace Resorts or Le Blanc Spa Resort. Groups contracted directly with Palace Resorts/Le Blanc Spa Resort shall refer to their specific contract policies. Airline ticket holders are subject to airlines’ policies and guidelines. This policy is subject to change or may be discontinued without notice.
• There are no hotel penalties for all cancellations 72 hours or less before a hurricane strikes. Guests must contact the travel professional they booked their vacation package through to cancel. No-show penalties will also be waived up to five days after the original traveling dates.
• If guests choose to transfer their reservation to an alternate destination offered by Palace Resorts (Except Le Blanc), the hotel will offer rooms at the same rate based on availability. In the event that rates are lower at the relocating hotel, the hotel will issue a credit for the difference. If Le Blanc guests choose to transfer their reservation to any Palace Resort, the hotel will issue a credit for the difference in rate.
