Melia Poltu Quatu offers 142 guestrooms in four Mediterranean-style whitewashed buildings of two to four storeys, draped with bougainvillea and bordered by flowering gardens. Guestroom interiors feature Sardinian decor with inlaid-wood doors, bleached-wood furniture, wrought-iron standard lamps, rustic wood-frame mirrors, and cream bedspreads and curtains embroidered in blue with traditional figures. Recreation

A narrow triangle-shaped pool runs 38 metres through the centre of the hotel grounds. An unpolished marble sundeck flanks the pool, furnished with umbrellas and cushioned sun loungers. Above one end of the pool is a 16-metre-long children's pool. A waterfall connects the two pools.

From mid-May to end of September, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Porto Sole Beach, where it has a beach club with complimentary umbrellas and sun loungers. Shuttles make the two-kilometre trip approximately every 30 minutes from early morning to early evening.

A diving school in the marina fronting the hotel offers scuba instruction, scuba and snorkelling tours, sailing instruction and sailboat hire. Inflatable motor boats can be hired in the resort village.
