The Silva Maris, Chersonisos, is a three-storey hotel with 312 air-conditioned guestrooms distributed amongst traditional Cretan-style bungalows. Rooms are simply decorated in natural shades with rustic wooden furnishings and tiled floors. All have balconies and include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, mini-refrigerators, hairdryers and high-speed Internet access. Complimentary wine and mineral water is offered.

Recreation

Energetic guests can enjoy access to a tennis court, petanque and boccia courts. At the beach there is a volleyball pitch. A water sports centre is situated 400 metres from the hotel offering windsurfing, water skiing and pedal boats (surcharges apply).

Property Amenities

Built in the style of a traditional Cretan village the Silva Maris resort features two outdoor swimming pools set amongst low stone walls and small piazzas in 5,000 square metres of landscaped gardens. At the beach guests can enjoy free use of sun beds and umbrellas as well as a towel service, showers and changing facilities. Activities offered include games, quizzes, bingo, Greek dancing, cooking and language lessons and sporting events. Evening entertainment includes a 60s’ night and Zorba’s night with Cretan buffet and live Greek music and dance. As well as a buffet and à la carte restaurant, guests are kept refreshed throughout the day at the five bars. Amenities include a shopping arcade, Internet access, and medical room.
