Spa

Thai service is the hallmark of Centara Spas. Treatments are offered in five rooms and are based on diverse Asian therapies to provide a natural approach to detoxify and rejuvenate the body. Solo, tandem, and spa package treatments offering several treatments are available. A Spa Guru is also on hand to answer any questions about treatments.

The spa focuses on treatment packages that offer multiple treatments together to heal the whole body. Examples are the Royal Fusion treatment and the Vitalizer Men’s Package.

Tranquility Massage (1 hour): THB1,600 (US$45)
Therapists use flowing movements and the guest’s choice of essential oils to gently pull the body into a state of relaxation.

Royal Thai Massage (1 hour): THB1,300 (US$35)
Thailand’s ancient, royal massage tradition uses deep tissue massage, pressure points, and stretching on the body’s meridians to release energy blocks and restore the body’s natural balance. Traditional loose Thai clothes are provided for the treatment.

Thai Herbal Body Polish (1 hour): THB1,500 (US$40)
Thai herbs and an exfoliating gel work together to detoxify the skin while restoring its natural shine. A finishing lotion leaves the skin as smooth as silk.

Amorous Adventure (2 hours): THB5,950 (US$160)
This afternoon-for-two combines Royal Thai Massage with a choice of treatments performed together to leave the couple balanced and serene.

Twinkle Toes Pedicure (1 hour 30 minutes): THB1,100 (US$30)
A complete foot treatment starting with a foot soak, nail trimming and shaping, cuticle cutting, and pumicing of dry areas. Followed with a foot massage, warm paraffin mask or cooling mask, and a final touch of polish.

Property Amenities

The landscaped grounds of the four-story Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui overlook the white sands of Chaweng Beach. Guests also have access to the Centara Spa, a dive shop, and two tennis courts. A hotel Club is available to guests seeking a more exclusive stay.

Free on-site parking and valet parking are both available.

There are four function rooms available for conferences, meetings, and weddings. Up to 200 people can be accommodated. Guests also have access to wireless Internet.

Internet access: Wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort for THB75 (US$1–$5) per hour. Fee(s) subject to change without notice.

Conference/function room(s): There are four conference rooms available:
Lamai I, 24 square meters (258 square feet), 20 people.
Lamai II, 65 square meters (700 square feet), 60 people.
Chaweng I, 144 square meters (1,550 square feet), 120 people.
Chaweng II, 96 square meters (1,033 square feet), 80 people.
Chaweng I and II can be combined to form a room of 240 square meters (2,583 square feet), capable of holding 250 people. Supplies available with conference room rental include: overhead and slide projectors, screens, videos, VCRs, TVs, and electronic whiteboards.

The resort offers a Kids Club, games, supervised child care, and children’s pool. A babysitting service is also available.

Child care/babysitting: Babysitting is available upon request for THB360 (US$10) per child per three-hour period. Fee(s) subject to change without notice.

Facilities: The complimentary kids’ club has games and a full day’s schedule of supervised activities, open from 10 AM to 5 PM. A children’s pool is also available.
