Hotel Information: Originally serving the City Market as Hornick’s Dry Goods Emporium, the main building of Planters Inn was constructed in 1844. The present inn comprises both the original building and a newer building with Charleston piazzas. All rooms look out onto the tranquil garden courtyard or the surrounding historic district. The inn is a perfect choice for those who appreciate historical ambience and elegant accommodations.

All Planters Inn guestrooms have 10-foot ceilings and hand-carved, four-poster mahogany beds from Baker Furniture’s Historic Charleston collection.
