Studded with palms and bordered by feathery pampas grass, a 100-yard-long beach area extending along the resort's waterfront supplies two volleyball nets, free-standing hammocks, swings, and views of passing ships. (Swimming in the water off the resort is strongly discouraged because of oyster beds and strong currents.)
