Recreation

During the summer, guests can enjoy mountain hikes and courses at every level with the Campagnie des Guides de Chamonix. Other local recreational activities include canoeing, rafting, skating at the indoor ice-rink (open evenings), golf, tennis and horse riding. Guests can view Chamonix from the air with a panoramic helicopter flight from the Argentiere base, just eight kilometers from the residence. There are also many organized children’s activities.

Over the winter months recreation focuses on the surrounding slopes, which are recommended for experienced skiers, though courses in down-hill skiing and cross country skiing are offered for every level. The residence is located at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which links to the slopes of La Vallée Blanche.

During the following times guests should check in at the Chamois Blanc reception (100 metres from the residence): Sundays to Thursdays, 9 AM to noon and 5 PM to 7 PM; Saturdays, 9 AM to 9 PM; closed on Wednesdays.

Please note:
On arrival day, room keys can only be collected after 5 PM and must be returned by 10 AM on the day of departure.
Short stay arrival after 2 PM. Keys must be returned by noon on the day of departure. Please notify the residence directly if you will be arriving after the reception is closed.
Towels and television are not provided free of charge and can be hired locally.
Please note:
Apartments do not receive a daily cleaning/maid service. On departure, all apartments should be left clean and tidy. Alternatively, an end of stay cleaning service is provided by the residence which incurs a fee payable locally. Guests can also purchase cleaning kits from reception.
