At 10,000 square metres (90,000 square feet), the Chi Spa is the largest spa in Southeast Asia. As a tranquil village inside the resort, the Chi Spa evokes the very essence of the Shangri-La concept. Futuresse, The Private Spa Selection, uses lotus extract from Myanmar and is featured in Chi Spa’s anti-aging collagen facials and luxury firming treatments. Biodroga is used for men's facial treatments and all body treatments; this German product is a combination of plant, seaweed extracts, and Dead Sea salts.
All of Chi Spa’s oils and essential oils are produced in Australia and Bhutan. Exclusively at Chi are blended scrubs from the Himalayas; the Mountain Tsampa Scrub combines Nepalese barley and spices in a secret recipe.

The Mactan Shangri-La’s business centre is open from 8 AM to 8 PM daily and features rooms and computer workstations for rent. Fax, printing, and typing services are also available (surcharge). The centre is supplemented by a varied choice of larger ballrooms for weddings, meetings and exhibitions.

Cebu Mactan International Airport (CEB): Approximate travel time to the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa is 15 minutes and distance is 5 km (3 miles).
Getting there: Public taxis and hotel cars and taxis are the most convenient way to reach the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa. Rental cars are not recommended for this area. However, rental cars are available online.
Getting around: Private hotel cars and public taxis are available 24 hours a day for trips around Mactan Island and Cebu City.
Approximate travel time: 15 minutes
Approximate cost (subject to change without notice): PHP3,300 (USD80) for Mercedes Benz S-Class, PHP2,600 (USD63) for a private van, and PHP200 (USD5) for a public taxi. Airport shuttle is PHP150 (USD) one way and PHP250 (USD) roundtrip. City shuttle (going to Cebu City shopping centres is PHP100 (USD) per way.
