David Walley's Resort is within five miles of several golf courses. South Lake Tahoe is 18 miles away, and downtown Reno is 51 miles away.

Seven natural hot mineral spring pools offer waters between 98 and 104 degrees; a freshwater pool is heated to 85 degrees. The resort includes steam rooms and saunas for men and women. The full-service health spa offers mud wraps, massages, and facials.

The hotel includes a fitness center and two outdoor pools. Guests can dine at the two on-site restaurants, one of which offers an extensive wine list; the lounge is open five evenings a week.
