This all-inclusive hotel offers 736 air-conditioned guestrooms in a six-story building shaped like a Mayan pyramid, and two five-story beachfront buildings. Rooms feature ground-floor patios or upper-floor balconies furnished with two chairs. Views include expansive grounds and gardens, the Caribbean Sea, or Nichupté Lagoon between Cancún Island and the mainland.

Mexican-influenced room decor features yellow and green walls, white ceilings, Mexican-style furniture of caramel-colored wood and wrought iron, marble floors, and green marble bathrooms. In-room safes are available for daily surcharges. Minibar drinks of beer, soft drinks, and bottled water are complimentary but other liquors incur surcharges.

This resort’s pool is large enough for three swim-up bars and a series of small waterfalls, plus a shallow area for children. Water sports include sailing and windsurfing at the resort’s marina on Nichupté Lagoon, which lies between Cancún and the mainland. A water sports desk arranges Jet Skiing, parasailing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving (surcharges for all). Two tennis courts are available (surcharges for night use). Greens fees are complimentary for the on-site par 3, nine-hole golf course (surcharges for rental equipment).
