Travel Details

Sea Temple Resort and Spa Palm Cove

Hotel Information: A cascading water feature and Buddha heads decorate each side of the portico entrance to the Sea Temple Resort and Spa. An open-air lobby leads to the central gardens and is decorated in neutral shades, with sandstone tiles and scattered sofas. Reception lies to the left, the restaurant to the right. Beyond the landscaped gardens and three swimming pools, there is direct access to Palm Cove Beach.

Amenity highlights: The Sea Temple Resort and Spa has direct access to Palm Cove Beach, and three swimming pools, including a lagoon-style pool and lap pool. Its full-service health spa has six treatment rooms and Vichy shower room, and there is also a fitness centre. Business amenities include a 163-square-metre meeting room and a forty-metre boardroom suitable for twelve people.

Insider tip: Palm Cove is one of the best-known beaches on the coast north of Cairns, but by no means the only one to be explored. Others within 10 km of Sea Temple Resort and Spa include Kewarra Beach, which has golden sands, and Trinity Beach, which lies between two headlands and is a good place to spy turtles and dolphins; its rock pools are also interesting.

Spa

The six spa treatment rooms at the Sea Temple Resort and Spa include a double Vichy room, three treatments rooms (two of which have outside verandas), and a manicure/pedicure room. Ergonomic and heated massage tables ensure the neck, spine, and leg muscles are cradled against any pressure points. Signature treatments include facials and water-heated basalt stone massages, which are designed to relax and re-energise for a harmonious feeling of wellbeing. During this time, stinger nets are set up in some areas to provide safe swimming, including on Palm Cove Beach opposite the Surf Club. Extra care is required at any time because of possible strong currents, rips, and saltwater crocodiles. Visitors should swim only at designated Life Saving patrol areas, of which there is one on Palm Cove Beach near the Sea Temple Resort and Spa.
