Box jellyfish migrate to the beaches during November−May, and the safety net and lifeguard provides for significant protection, enabling year-round swimming at Trinity Beach. Guests are advised to notify On The Beach Holiday Apartments of anticipated arrival time. For after-hours check-in, guests are to use the telephone at the side of the reception kiosk, and dial through to management. Instructions will be given over the telephone for key access.

Reception hours of operation: Monday–Sunday, 7.30 AM–6.30 PM in low season, and 7.30 AM−7.30 PM in high season.

Rooms

The 45 apartments of the On The Beach Apartments Trinity Beach offer one, two, and three bedroom configurations. Housed within seven buildings, the two and three bedroom apartments have internal access from each particular building. One bedroom apartments are accessed from external corridors. All apartments face the ocean. Three buildings front the property at street level, closest to the beach, with views of the beach or ocean. Four buildings at the rear are elevated and provide ocean views, garden views, or beach views. Six of the apartment blocks have staircase access, and one has an elevator (lift).
All apartments have once-weekly housekeeping, with daily housekeeping available on request at a surcharge. Bedding includes cotton sheets and quilted covers or duvets (comforters). Microwaves, cook tops, kitchen and dining equipment, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided. All bathrooms offer Natural Essence complimentary toiletries. A children’s playground is also located across the road at the beach. Off-site activities can be arranged through the reception, for tours including snorkelling, scuba diving, and water sports, which are within 25 km of the apartments. Paradise Palms Golf Course, within 10 km, is open to the public. Bungy jumping, horse-riding, fishing, para-sailing, white-water rafting, and kayaking are within 30 km of Trinity Beach. A fitness centre is within 1 km of the apartments and reception can call to introduce guests for access with temporary membership. Helicopter sightseeing is available at Marlin Marina on the Esplanade in Cairns city, 10 km away.
