Hotel Information: Exceptionally child-friendly, Chia Village attracts families seeking active holidays centred on the beach, pools, and sports. The resort is part of a larger development that resembles a secluded village, complete with central piazza, terraced into rocky hillsides. Scented gardens with many varieties of trees, flowers, and blossoming shrubs border the buildings and stone paths.
Amenity highlights: The resort's private beach club of sun loungers and umbrellas is set between dunes and sheltered from the wind. Sunbathers can also find tranquillity around three family pools. Complimentary supervision is provided for children in two picket-fenced areas, one enclosing a pool and playground and the other a play area, air-conditioned clubhouse, and nursery (hourly surcharges). The resort has 14 restaurants and bars, including one for children.
Insider tip: For an admission fee of €1 (subject to change), guests can climb to the top of the Tower of Chia, a centuries-old stone watchtower situated 700 metres from the resort atop a rocky mound at the edge of the sea.

Recreation
From mid-May to mid-September, Chia Village operates a private beach club available exclusively to resort guests. Every 15 minutes from mid-morning to late afternoon a wheeled "train" shuttles guests 700 metres to and from the beach, which also is accessible by a wood pathway.
Three family pools are scattered around the resort's grounds. The main pool is surrounded by sunbathing lawns furnished with umbrellas, sun loungers, and gazebos. Two other pools, both 26 metres long, are terraced into a hillside, flanked by sunbathing lawns and linked by a tiled stream. Pool and beach aerobics are complimentary.
For children, there is a 26-metre-long pool, playground, air-conditioned clubhouse and shaded play area. Complimentary children's activities for ages 3-12 are provided all day in the two children’s enclosures and on the beach. There is also a nursery (hourly surcharges) for ages 0-3.
Complimentary land-sports include two lighted tennis courts, a mini football pitch, and a volleyball court. Tennis lessons are offered for surcharges. An activities team organises competitions daily. For surcharges there are an 18-hole pitch-and-putt golf course and a driving range. Bicycles can be hired on site.
From mid-May to mid-September, the resort's water sports centre offers a wide variety of equipment and activities for surcharges.

Property Amenities
Note: While the resort accept guests from Easter to mid-October, some facilities, including many restaurants and bars, are not open during this entire period. Most facilities, however, are open from 1st June to the end of September.
Complimentary entertainment including cabaret and musical shows is presented nightly from 1st June until the first week of September in the resort's main piazza. Supervised dancing for children in the evening is provided in a small, adjacent square.
In addition to restaurants, a bar-gelateria, and a teen centre with coin-operated games, the piazza includes boutiques selling gifts, newspapers, clothes, jewellery and Sardinian produce, and a pharmacy.
A disco bar across the street from the main resort offers DJ music nightly from mid-June to early September.
There is a complimentary fitness centre, and for a surcharge guests can also use beauty centre offering sauna, steam room, spa tub and massage.
