Recreation

The hotel is located 200 metres from the nearest ski lift in the resort of Grindelwald, part of the Jungfrau ski area. The resort is located at an altitude of 1034 metres and features 79 ski runs, including 14 black runs, and covers a total distance of 211 kilometres. All levels of skier are catered for at the resort, with off-piste skiing available. A total of 20 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails surround the resort. Access to the resort’s slopes is only permitted with a valid ski pass, which can be purchased from the local tourist office or on the Destination Services when booking. There is also a kids’ club (fees may apply), ski hire shops, and numerous après-ski options, including many bars, restaurants, and clubs in the resort centre. As well as the extensive winter sports opportunities, in the summer months the area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking with golf, tennis, and a wide range of other activities on offer in the vicinity.
