Shanty Creek Resorts - Summit Village offers 550 guestrooms in a 3-story property. Guestrooms have coffee/tea makers. All guestrooms offer balconies. They also provide air conditioning. Services include housekeeping and wake-up calls. Amenities available on request include irons/ironing boards and hair dryers. Rollaway beds are also available.

Recreation

Located on 4,500 acres, in Northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes region, this all-season resort offers an abundance of recreational activities. 72 holes of championship golf include a traditional course designed by PGA tour player Tom Weiskopf. Two mountains provide downhill ski slopes, snowboarding, and snow tubing; and Nordic trails are featured throughout the villages.

Seven swimming pools include two indoor pools and two year-round outdoor pools. Two outdoor spa tubs are open year-round while three spa tubs are indoors. Seasonal swimming can be enjoyed on a sandy beach with two beach clubs. Guided horseback trail rides are offered seasonally. A fitness center (surcharge) features exercise equipment, as well as a sauna and steam room, and the wellness spa (surcharge) offers a menu of body, nail, and skin treatments.

Additional possibilities include fly fishing, bicycle rentals, sleigh and hay rides, organized children’s activities, day excursions, and a video-game arcade. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, croquet, and disc golf are also offered. Instruction and equipment can be provided for many sports.

In addition to an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, Shanty Creek Resorts - Summit Village also provides a private beach, ski-in/ski-out access, a spa tub, and a sauna. Meeting facilities include conference rooms, banquet facilities, and meeting rooms for small groups. This Bellaire property provides a ski shuttle. This Bellaire property also offers a bar or lounge, a fitness center or room, and a business center. The property has a 24-hour front desk. Onsite parking is complimentary.
