Hotel Information: The lobby’s large revolving doors open into a quiet, minimalist-style area featuring a grand piano on the far end, a lounge area with armchairs and tables, and a stairway leading up to the mezzanine lounge. Décor includes golden sculptures and wall pieces complementing white-and-beige marble floor and walls. The hotel’s mostly business travelers check in at a busy area set off the main entrance lobby.

Amenity highlights: Among the hotel’s 12 dining options are a 29th-floor revolving restaurant, one of the only in Beijing, a 24-hour buffet restaurant, and several lounges, one of which features live evening harp music and a daily happy hour with complimentary snacks. A daily buffet breakfast is also complimentary. The full health club includes an indoor pool, fitness center, sauna, and outdoor tennis court.

Insider tip: Across the street is a covered market that sells leather goods, clothing, and gift items, similar to what is sold at the famous silk market. Bargaining here is a must.

The 500-square-meter (5,380-square-foot) health club comprises a 50-square-meter (538-square-foot) fitness center with six treadmills, one rower, one elliptical bike, one stair machine, and one recumbent bicycle; a 60-square-meter (645-square-foot) free-weights room with LCD TV and a personal trainer; an indoor heated pool, a locker room, separate saunas for men and women; and two full body massage treatment rooms (hourly surcharges apply). One rooftop outdoor tennis court within the hotel complex is open to hotel guests.

Location Details

Beijing International Airport (PEK): Approximate travel time is 20 minutes and distance is 17 km (11 miles).

Getting there: The hotel can arrange airport transportation via private car for a surcharge. Guests must contact the hotel at least 24 hours prior to arrival in order to make arrangements. Additionally, airport shuttle buses take guests to Sanyuan Bridge, which is about 3 km from the hotel. Taxis from the bridge to the hotel will take about 5 minutes. Getting around: Taxis are the best way to get around and can be hailed from along the streets. Travelers are advised to take metered taxis and those with official endorsements. Touts (unofficial taxis) abound and will usually charge a flat fee.

Summit Floor Restaurant - Revolving restaurant and lounge on the 29th floor. Offers 360 degree panoramic views of Liangma River and the city. Wide range of cuisine including Japanese, Chinese, Western, and Indian, cooked at four different stations in open-kitchen concept. Buffet and à la carte menus offered. Wine cellar. Set dinners offered daily with four rotating menus and special monthly promotions offered. Live band plays on weeknights. Sunday brunch features live jazz band. Open from morning till late night for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Jade - Cantonese cuisine served in a European-style restaurant featuring high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows. Gold-colored cabinets contrast with beige marble floors. Dim sum offered at lunch. Adjoining cigar bar includes large wine selection. Private dining rooms cater for 10 each. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Jin Yuan - The Szechuan restaurant is styled after a Qing dynasty courtyard with traditional awnings and decoration details. Raised dining platform is central to the restaurant. Four private rooms in traditional style provide extra seats for 40. Seats along the windows offer garden views. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from early morning to night.

Four Seasons - Three-story buffet restaurant. Serves international cuisine 24 hours daily. Garden theme generated by palm trees, foliage, glass ceiling, and a water feature. Grand piano for live evening music. Second-level gazebo provides additional seats.

Keikoku – Japanese restaurant styled after a traditional fishing village. Wood is used to create the scene's bridge, Japanese garden, and water features. Menu includes teppanyaki, sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, soups, and fried dishes. Five private tatami rooms, robatayaki, and teppanyaki grills are also available. Open for lunch and dinner.

Ma Cherie - Thai/Vietnamese restaurant spread over two stories. Quiet ambience generated by walls forming private enclaves, and soft orange lighting. Raised platform with a harp dominates the central area. Second-floor seats are set along the balcony. Menu includes Vietnamese and Thai spring rolls, salads, seafood, curries, barbecue grilled dishes, noodles, and a range of desserts. Open for lunch and dinner.

Shilla - Korean restaurant serving Korean barbecue, hot-pot dishes, and other traditional cuisine. Sectioned seating available for a more private dining experience. Open for lunch and dinner.

Shanghai Flavor - Specializes in Shanghainese cuisine. Pebbled entrance and wooden wall panels lead guests along a walkway into the main restaurant area fashioned to reflect Old Shanghai. Water features, walkway bridge, and gardens surround the restaurant. Carved-dragon ceiling details lend to the overall theme. Open for lunch and dinner.

Sunshine Lounge - Quiet lounge with cigar and wine selections. High-back leather chairs. Serves high tea, cocktail drinks, and juices. Two-story ceiling and full-length windows on one side overlook outdoor landscaped area. Open 24 hours.
