Located directly on rocky shoreline 4 km (2.5 miles) south of Bridgetown, this hotel is set on the south coast of Barbados, just opposite Hastings Plaza in Hastings Village. Built around a pool terrace, the U-shaped complex overlooks the sea, and a wooden boardwalk stretches the length of the property. Some of the island's best swimming is at world-famous Rockley Beach, a four-minute stroll away.

On-site amenities at the Allamanda Beach Hotel include a swimming pool, bike rentals, babysitting-services, laundry facilities, and restaurant; high-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available at a lobby kiosk. Please note: Beginning March 1, 2004, guests traveling from Canada must have a valid passport for entry into Barbados. The current policy, permitting entry with only a photo ID and a certificate of live birth, will be discontinued for security reasons.
