Hotel Information: A two-story, marble-and-brass lobby provides a regal setting for guests in this classically styled 1928 building (listed as a National Trust Historic Hotel of America). Business travelers and vacationers occupy the sofas and armchairs, tapping on laptops and sipping drinks from Starbucks. Other guests include groups attending events in the plush Calvert Ballroom, paneled with murals of the city's history and lit by Waterford crystal chandeliers.

Dining
Lord Baltimore Grill - This contemporary, softly lit restaurant contrasts with the opulent, French Renaissance feel of the lobby one flight up. During the week, breakfast and lunch buffets are served. At night, steak and seafood dominate, complemented by wine from the glassed-in wine cellar in the rear.
The Lobby Bar - Tucked in a corner off the lobby, the bar has a clubby feel, with paneled walls and maroon wall-to-wall carpet. Twelve seats line the L-shaped wooden bar, and clusters of chairs are spread throughout the rest of the dark room.
Starbucks - Oversized purple velvet chairs, coffee drinks, and complimentary high-speed Internet access attract a steady stream of customers to this coffee shop located off the hotel's Baltimore Street entrance.
