Hotel Information: The 104-room Baltimore hotel was built in 1928 as a luxury apartment building in one of the city's poshest neighborhoods. The hotel features a two-story, marble-tiled lobby with a 6-foot-long Baccarat crystal chandelier. Straddling Baltimore's arts and business districts, the hotel draws celebrities, dignitaries, and visitors to nearby theaters, shops, and galleries.
Amenity highlights: Adjacent to the lobby, Peabody's fitness room has a weight machine, treadmill, exercise bike, and stair machine; guests can also use the Downtown Athletic Club a half-mile away (fee).

Peabody Court has 104 guestrooms, all of which include French reproduction antiques and triple-sheeted beds. Marble-topped tables flank the beds, and desks are covered in leather. Patterned quilts cover triple-sheeted beds. Easy chairs and floor lamps stand next to windows overlooking the park or the city. Bathrooms have magnifying makeup mirrors, gray-marble vanities, heated towel racks, and white-marble tiled tubs featuring handheld showers as well as showerheads. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary.
