Recreation

Guests are able to use the outdoor freeform swimming pool, and massage and spa services are available at the hotel’s Sungai (River) Spa. Access to walking and hiking trails can be arranged, along with cycling tours, elephant safaris for feeding and riding, white water rafting on Ayung River, and bird watching.

This resort can arrange for guests to attend golf courses located in Bali. Guests may also arrange to travel to Monkey Forest, approximately 23 km (14 miles) distant, where local monkey populations have become familiar with tourists and interact with them. The Padang Tegal area is also nearby at approximately 20 km (12 miles), where the Kechak Trance Dance takes place.

Location Details

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS): Approximate travel time is 1 hour 20 minutes and distance is 45 km (28 miles).

Getting there: On arrival at the airport guests can travel to the resort by pre-arranged hotel transport or by taxi. Guests can purchase taxi tickets at the airport counter for a fixed price. There are also metered taxis (click the links below for instructions/details).

Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside baggage claim at Arrivals. Guests should instruct the driver to proceed to Payangan Area, toward the Ayung River bridge crossing near the temple. There is an intersection at Banjar Susut Area. Buahan Village office is on the right turn; instruct the driver to turn left, and travel past the school. The Nandini Bali Resort & Spa Ubud turn left sign will lead travelers along a dirt road to the resort.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Hotel airport transfer is available daily. However, guests must contact the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to give the staff an estimated time of arrival. Dining

A complimentary Continental or buffet-style breakfast is provided each morning.

Wild Ginger - The open-walled traditional Balinese restaurant with alang-alang (thatched) roof serves International, Indonesian, and Balinese Cuisine, with an emphasis on using fresh produce from local markets. Guests are catered to daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with mid-afternoon snacks. The restaurant may also offer casual entertainment in the evenings, and is suited for up to 40 guests. Breakfast menu may include juice or fresh fruit platter, eggs, ham or sausages, toast, pancakes, or waffles. The evening menu may offer grilled chicken breast in Balinese spices with sauteed vegetables, or pan-fried marinated tuna with tomato-based sauce.

Warung Teh - A casual lounge-style Indonesian tea room where guests may select from a range of aromatic teas from plantations in Java, Sumatra, Bali, China, India, Sri Lanka, and Japan. Décor is light and colorful, with furnishings in natural materials, and there is a flat-screen TV.
