Hotel Information: Although guests must walk a half mile to the pink-sand beach extending three miles along Harbour Island's eastern shore, this resort provides guests with sunset views from a west-facing hillside, which is terraced down a half mile to the Atlantic Ocean passage separating Harbour Island from Eleuthera Island. Couples and families come here for the relaxing, open-air ambience.
Amenity highlights: Terraced into the resort's hillside is a weathered-wood sundeck surrounding a heated, 40-foot, freeform infinity-edge pool that includes a separate children's section. Just below the pool, bright-pink cabanas grace a sand sunbathing terrace. Thickly cushioned lounge chairs offer views of the ocean and Eleuthera Island 0.5 mile away.
Insider tip: Harbour Island’s Dunmore Town is 0.25 mile away and provides an interesting stroll among little pastel colonial-style houses.
Rooms
The resort offers 15 (all nonsmoking) guestrooms and suites in six, 1- and 2-story pastel buildings terraced down a tropical-garden hillside toward the Atlantic Ocean. Renovated in 2009, rooms feature iPod docking stations and "Lather!" toiletries. Beds feature thick mattresses and featherbeds as well as white comforters (bedspreads). Balconies and ground-floor terraces include lounge chairs. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioning.
Televisions include U.S. cable channels. Rooms offer wireless Internet access, direct-dial phones, and clock radios with MP3 docks.

A 40-foot, freeform, infinity-edge pool terraced above the resort's waterfront includes a separate children's section. Although the resort does not have a beach, guests can swim in the ocean right off the waterfront or walk 0.5 mile to a beach of pinkish sand. Use of the resort's tennis court is complimentary.

Dining options include an ocean-view, fine-dining restaurant and a casual waterfront restaurant/bar. Two large, raucous macaws inhabit a cage just outside the lobby, greeting guests with "hello" and "goodbye."
