Hotel Information: Potted trees twinkling with fairy lights greet convention, business, and tourist guests outside the SKYCITY Grand Hotel. Inside the lobby, armchairs and sofas are scattered across several sitting areas, while a grand piano and small bar occupy one corner. Insider tip: The SKYCITY Grand Hotel is part of the SKYCITY complex, which includes the iconic Sky Tower directly across the road. Spa

One of New Zealand's largest spa facilities, the East Day Spa offers a steam room, manicure/pedicure room, eight massage rooms (of which three are doubles), and two suites. The suites have a spa bath, showers, and massage facilities.

The East Day Spa is designed as a sanctuary for peace and relaxation in an urban environment. The spa has a distinct Balinese influence and seeks to stimulate holistic well-being. There is no fixed itinerary; the shuttle drops passengers off at hotels and other locations on request. Shuttles depart approximately every 20 minutes. Super Shuttle will drop passengers outside the SKYCITY Grand Hotel. SkyBus drops passengers at the SKYCITY Entertainment Complex, which is just across the street.

Driving directions from Auckland International Airport (AKL): Leave the International Terminal by driving up Ray Emery Drive to the main set of traffic lights, following the signs to Auckland. Turn left onto George Bolt Memorial Drive and follow this for approximately 5 km before merging with Motorway 20A. Follow the motorway over the Mangere Bridge and then take the Queenstown Road exit. Turn right on the bridge over the motorway and proceed along Pah Road, which becomes Manukau Road. Turn left on Epsom Road. Turn right on Gillies Avenue and follow this to the onramp for the Northern Motorway 1. Take the Symonds Street exit. The hotel is on the left after two sets of traffic lights. Turn left into Wakefield Street and then left again into Mayoral Drive. Turn right into Albert Street, left into Wellesley Street, and immediately right into Federal Street. The hotel is on the left.
