Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Shuttle bus ranks are located at the western side of the international terminal and in front of the domestic terminals. Once through customs (international terminal), continue to the taxi and shuttle signs at the front of the building. The Airbus shuttle stop is on the right-hand side, past the taxi rank. Auckland Central Backpackers guests are entitled to a discounted fare. The Airbus shuttle service operates daily from 5 AM to 10 PM. Airbus shuttles stop in front of the hostel.

Driving directions from Auckland International Airport (AKL): Auckland Central Backpackers is situated on Queen Street, which is the main street in Auckland. From the airport, follow the Southern Motorway (M1) to the city. Take the Nelson Street exit, then turn right into Wellesley Street and left onto Queen Street. The next street on the left will be Darby Street, where the hotel entrance is located. The car park nearby offers reasonable overnight rates, although it is more expensive during the daytime. Guests should ask at reception about the parking discount.
