Hotel Information: This five-story 1970s building lies in a quiet residential street behind the edge of the Plaka district. Sliding glass doors lead into the peaceful lobby with a reception desk, a stone paved floor and whitewashed rough concrete walls. The lobby gives way to the Atrium Cafe, a glazed area with a wooden floor, a long wooden bar, tables, and chairs. Guests are a mix of tourists and businesspeople.
Amenity highlights: Located on the ground floor, the hotel restaurant was remodeled in 2003. The original 1970s structure has been cleverly adapted to incorporate 21st-century designer chic: whitewashed rough concrete walls are played off against a gray marble food counter with an open-plan kitchen behind so guests can watch the chefs at work.
