Guided by an onboard GPS unit, the GoCar provides navigational information as well as facts and anecdotes about the city, all related by a friendly automated voice. And, unlike many standard tours, the GoCar isn't locked into a pre-set timetable, so the driver and passenger get to choose the pace of the tour.

  The GoCar office is located at 2715 Hyde Street at the western end of Fisherman's Wharf.
  
  Return time and location:
  The GoCar office closes at 8 PM in summer and at sunset in winter. The car's computer directs drivers back to the office at the end of the tour.

  After booking online and printing your voucher(s), you must call GoCar Rentals, Inc. at least 48 hours prior to your desired date of service to confirm receipt of your online reservation and finalize details. All customers/participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity. Comfortable shoes and an extra layer of warm clothing are recommended. You must have a valid standard driver's license, be age 21 or older, and have a valid credit card to rent a GoCar. Passenger age is at the discretion of parent/guardian. Vehicles are controlled with a motorcycle-style handle, throttle, and hand brakes.

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Exchange your voucher for activity:
After booking online and printing your voucher(s), you must call GoCar Rentals, Inc. at least 48 hours prior to your desired date of service to confirm receipt of your online reservation and finalize details. This final step is required to confirm your space in this activity. The customer service phone number appears on your printed voucher(s). On the day of your tour please arrive at the redemption address at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. You will be required to present your voucher(s) at this time, along with valid photo identification and a current driver's license.
