Departing Auckland, this combination transfer/tour stops first at Rangiriri. This historic location is the site of one of the crucial battles between the Maori and British during the land wars of the 1860s. You’ll also visit Ngaruawahia—home of the former Maori Queen—and picturesque Fitzgerald Glade, where native bush grows right up to the roadside with a shady canopy of trees above.

Also included is a fascinating trip to Ruakuri or Waitomo Cave (choose one above when booking). At Ruakuri, take an otherworldly journey deep into the earth where you’ll discover hidden waterfalls, winding corridors, an underground river, and unbelievable cave formations. Waitomo boasts long galleries and chambers of caves as well as the mystical glowworm grotto, where thousands of glowworms luminesce and create an incredible display overhead like stars in the night sky.

Please arrive at redemption address at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Upon pick-up, present your voucher(s) to the driver.
